EAGLES WILL OPEN 2024 REGULAR SEASON IN BRAZIL
The Eagles will kick off the 2024 season with a historic Friday night game in Brazil, marking the NFL's first game in South America and the first season opener on a Friday since 1970. The game is scheduled for Sept. 6 at São Paulo's Arena Corinthians, home to the Sport Club Corinthians Paulista soccer team. With a capacity of 47,252, the stadium hosted matches during the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympics.
Although it's considered a home game for the Eagles, they will still have eight regular-season games at the Linc, as they are slated for nine home games in 2024. Additionally, their road opponents for the season include the Falcons, Panthers, Browns, Packers, and Steelers, with the Jaguars excluded as they play in London annually.
