EUROPE'S STOXX 600 HITS RECORD INTRADAY HIGH

Europe's STOXX 600 hit a record intraday high on Friday, rebounding from a sell-off earlier in August on expectations major global central banks will loosen monetary policy while economic growth and the labour market remain relatively robust.
The pan-European benchmark was last up 0.2% at 525.63 points, breaching its previous intraday record of 525.59 points reached on June 7. Germany's DAX blue chip index also hit a record high on Thursday.
