With the India Artificial Intelligence (AI) Impact Summit 2026 set to be held in Delhi from Feb 16 to 20, Delhi govt has started fast-tracking upgrades at key roundabouts and public spaces — all of which are to be completed within a month — with a focus on lighting, aesthetics and quick execution to present a polished, visitor-friendly capital.
One of the first sites taken up is the roundabout near Hyatt Regency in southwest Delhi, where Public Works Department (PWD) has earmarked Rs 22.78 lakh for improvement work. Officials said the aim is to enhance the junction's visual appeal and night visibility, which lies along an important corridor used by residents and visiting delegates.
