GERMAN DEALERSHIP STERNAUTO OPENS BYD STORE IN BERLIN

Chinese electric vehicle (EV) giant BYD is making strides in the European market, with five of its models now available for sale in Germany. These models will be showcased at a dedicated BYD-only store in Berlin, operated by the dealership Sternauto. This move underscores BYD's increasing presence in Europe and its competition with established European automakers.

Sternauto, which holds exclusive rights to sell BYD cars in eastern Germany, established the store to better connect with customers as awareness of the brand grows among Germans seeking affordable electric vehicles. Although the majority of BYD's revenue still comes from sales in China, the company is expanding its global reach, with new manufacturing facilities under construction in Hungary, Brazil, and Thailand.
