HOW WIFE JENNA AND LIFE AT HOME MAKE 49ERS STAR BROCK PURDY A BETTER QUARTERBACK

Brock Purdy is finding joy in the balancing act of his public persona as the 49ers’ starting quarterback and his life as a family man. And he said he believes the two are more connected than what most people might think.

“It allows me to be a better quarterback and everything because I understand, I am loved,” Purdy told NBC Sports Bay Area. “I have an amazing wife, an amazing daughter, and a second baby on the way, and everything is OK. "And now I get to go and play free and play hard for them, and it's been better.” As the 49ers opened training camp in late July, Jenna Purdy announced on social media that the couple is expecting their second child. “That's all I've ever wanted growing up was this, as a husband and a father now,” Brock Purdy said. “I love it.” Purdy, 26, enters his fifth NFL season after the 49ers selected him with the final pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. Toward the end of his rookie season, he went from being an obscure reserve quarterback to a nationally recognizable face.
