INDIAN MEN'S HOCKEY TEAM LOSES 1-3 TO AUSTRALIA

The Indian men’s hockey team's hopes for continuing their winning streak from February were dashed as they suffered their fourth consecutive defeat against Australia in Perth on Friday. Although Craig Fulton's team showed improvement compared to their performance in the first two matches, it wasn't enough to prevent Australia from securing a 3-1 victory, thereby taking a commanding 4-0 lead in the five-match Test series.

Harmanpreet Singh managed to score India's sole goal from their second Penalty Corner in the 12th minute. However, Australia's Jeremy Hayward capitalized on two Penalty Corners in the 19th and 47th minutes, while Jack Welch added another goal for the hosts from yet another Penalty Corner late in the game. Despite the loss, there were several positives to take away for the Indian team.
