MEMORY CARD WITH WEDDING DAY PHOTOS STOLEN FROM PHOTOGRAPHER'S VEHICLE IN OAKLAND
A wedding photographer’s vehicle got broken into in Oakland. He says thieves stole his cameras and equipment, including memory cards that held a couple’s wedding day pictures. Jenna Wesenhagen Banks and Nick Banks got married this past weekend. It was a day spent with their kids and loved ones as they celebrated their love, memories they were hoping to look back on forever.
“Our families coming together, it was just something special, and even the photographer, he’s a friend of the family, he’s known my wife's family for years,” Banks said.
David Martin Jr. is a photographer from Antioch but now based out of Southern California. He traveled to the East Bay to photograph his friend Jenna’s wedding on Sunday. On Wednesday, Martin Jr. was on his way to another job when he stopped by Jack London Square in Oakland to get food. That’s when he says his vehicle got broken into. He says thieves stole cameras, lights, a drone, his computer and other gear.“I was over in Swan's Market, and I came back out to my car, and they smashed my side window and back window,” Martin Jr. said.
