More than 300 students gathered at San Francisco State University Saturday for the College Access Summit. The event includes workshops, campus experiences and college readiness programs to help students prepare for higher education.
The summit was hosted by the university and the nonprofit 10,000 Degrees. The partnership focuses on expanding college access for first generation and low-income students. It guarantees admission to San Francisco State for eligible students in the 10,000 Degrees program.
