Minister of state for civil aviation Murlidhar Mohol has requested the state government to send a proposal to the centre to name the Lohegaon airport in the name of Jagatguru Santshreshtha Tukaram Maharaaj.

The minister, who is also the Pune MP, met CM Eknath Shinde and DCMs Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis pertaining to the same and asked them to send the proposal to the centre.
