MULTIPLE SIDESHOWS POP UP ACROSS SAN JOSE

Multiple sideshows broke out across San Jose late Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Just before 11 p.m. Saturday, a large sideshow group gathered at a shopping center on Capitol Avenue. Two hours later, sideshow crowds gathered at Santa Teresa Boulevard and Bailey Avenue. Another group popped up at Hellyer Avenue and Embedded Way.

"Due to staffing and call volume, SJPD was unable to compete a large scale enforcement operation but were able to vacate the vehicles from the locations," police said in a statement. "Although no citations were issued, the investigation is ongoing."
