The 49ers will be missing a key defensive player in their Week 6 matchup against the Washington Commanders on Monday night at Levi's Stadium. The NFL's one-game suspension of Dre Greenlaw has been upheld following the San Francisco linebacker's appeal, NFL senior vice president of football and international communications Michael Signora announced Tuesday evening on X.
The appeal was denied by hearing officer James Thrash, according to Signora's statement. The NFL originally announced Monday that the 49ers linebacker has been suspended without pay for one game due to "unsportsmanlike conduct" during San Francisco's 32-29 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
