PETE CARROLL FIRED BY RAIDERS AS LAS VEGAS WILL HIRE 4TH HEAD COACH IN 4 SEASONS

The Las Vegas Raiders continue to cycle through head coaches. Pete Carroll was the latest to be one-and-done for the Silver and Black, with the team firing 74-year-old coach after going 3-14 in his lone season. The team confirmed the decision Monday morning.

The former Super Bowl winner was always expected to be a short-term coach in Las Vegas given his age, but this season certainly didn't go as planned. After winning their opening game against the Patriots in New England, the Raiders dropped 14 of their final 16 games -- including 10 straight before their Week 18 win.
