SAN FRANCISCO MUNI SUBWAY SERVICE RESTORED AFTER CAR ENTERS TRACKS ON MARKET STREET

Market Street subway service between Van Ness and Embarcadero stations experienced major disruptions following an incident late Saturday when an automobile entered the tracks via The Embarcadero, transit officials said.

The weekend incident caused significant delays in both directions, prompting the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency to suspend Muni Metro service between Church and Embarcadero stations for emergency trackway inspections and repairs.
