SANTA CLARA UNIVERSITY CELEBRATES ITS LARGEST-EVER CLASS OF UNDERGRADUATES

Nearly 1,800 graduates walked across the stage Saturday morning to earn their diploma. The keynote speaker was Dee Dee Myers, a former White House press secretary, consultant to the show "West Wing," and a Santa Clara alum.

Myers talked about how the trajectory of her life shifted at Santa Clara, when she changed her major from biology to politics. She told the class of 2026 to follow their guts, and to pursue work that has meaning.
