STANFORD UNIVERSITY TO SLASH $140M FROM BUDGET, LEADS TO POTENTIAL LAYOFFS

Stanford University announced in a letter to the campus community that it is slashing $140 million from its budget due to funding cuts at the federal level.

Under President Donald Trump, the government has been slashing research grants as well as higher education funding.
