TATA POWER NET PROFIT UP 11% TO RS 1,046 CRORE IN Q4

Tata Power announced a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,046 crore in the March quarter, marking an 11% increase compared to the same period last year. This rise was primarily driven by higher revenues. The company's profit for the corresponding quarter in the previous year stood at Rs 939 crore, as indicated in a BSE filing. Total income for the quarter rose to Rs 16,463.94 crore from Rs 13,325.30 crore in the same period a year ago.

For the fiscal year 2023-24, Tata Power recorded a consolidated net profit of Rs 4,280 crore, marking a significant increase from Rs 3,810 crore in the previous fiscal year. Total income for FY24 increased to Rs 63,272.32 crore from Rs 56,547.10 crore in FY23. The company also said that its market capitalization has exceeded Rs 1.4 lakh crore.
