TRUMP AND TSMC CEO WILL ANNOUNCE NEW $100 BILLION US INVESTMENT PLANS

President Donald Trump and the head of the Taiwanese semiconductor company TSMC CEO C.C. Wei will announce plans on Monday for a four-year, $100 billion investment in the United States, sources told Reuters.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. is expected to announce the investment, which will include building additional chip factories in the U.S. in the coming years, in a meeting with Trump set for 1:30 p.m. (1830 GMT). TSMC, the world's largest contract chipmaker, is a leading supplier to major U.S. hardware manufacturers.
