Officials from President Trump’s administration are planning a visit this week to the Federal Reserve’s Washington, D.C. headquarters. The purpose? To closely examine the $2.5 billion renovation project underway there.

The trip is being coordinated by White House Deputy Chief of Staff James Blair, who told Semafor: “We just want to know whether or not [the design changes] is true.” The goal is to scrutinize any cost overruns and deviations from earlier plans.
