The U.S. men's national soccer team is gearing up for a FIFA World Cup on home soil. The American squad is hosting the globe's biggest soccer tournament for the first time since 1994, and this time around it is sharing those duties with Canada and Mexico.
Led by head coach Mauricio Pochettino and star Christian Pulisic, the USMNT is looking to improve on a Round of 16 exit from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. They will have more competition than ever, though, as the 2026 World Cup is the first in history to feature 48 teams.
