WEBB AND YASTRZEMSKI LEAD WAY IN GIANTS' MOST COMPLETE WIN OF SEASON

Nick Ahmed's double in the bottom of the eighth inning at Oracle Park brought a moment of confusion as the new lights briefly flashed, almost as if celebrating a home run. While the ball didn't quite clear the wall, it kickstarted a pivotal four-run rally for the San Francisco Giants against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Giants had yet to hit a home run at home and had not won a night game under their new lights until Thursday night. Ahmed's hit helped seal the victory and prevented the lights from being utilized for closer Camilo Doval, who had been warming up in anticipation of his entrance. However, with the team's strong performance, it's likely that Doval will have plenty of opportunities to take the field under the spotlight in future games.
