WOODS WILL MAKE PGA TOUR RETURN AT RIVIERA

Tiger Woods will be returning to competitive golf at the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club, marking his first official PGA Tour start since undergoing fusion surgery on his right ankle after withdrawing from last year's Masters.

As the player-host of the event, which benefits his foundation, Woods will be participating in one of the PGA Tour's Signature Events, featuring a $20 million purse with $4 million reserved for the winner. Following his absence from most of 2023, Woods made a comeback at the Hero World Challenge in November and later competed alongside his son Charlie at the PNC Championship in December.
