The Giants added another arm to the starting rotation. San Francisco signed right-handed starting pitcher Tyler Mahle to a one-year contract. Mahle's one-year contract with the Giants is for $10 million. Mahle, 31, posted a 6-4 record with 66 strikeouts, 29 walks and a 2.18 ERA in 86 2/3 innings pitched for the Texas Rangers last season. Some who received a Real ID from the Department of Motor Vehicles might be carrying a driver's license that does not meet the federal standards.
