DENVER BRONCOS BUS INVOLVED IN A MINOR CRASH

Two Denver Broncos team buses were involved in an accident on Highway 101 in Sunnyvale yesterday afternoon. The accident occurred on southbound U.S. Highway 101 at the State Route 237 interchange shortly after 2 p.m. Reports indicate that the team was returning in two buses to the Marriott Hotel in Santa Clara from the practice facility in Stanford when the accident happened. None of the passengers on board appear to be injured. One of the buses sustained a shattered windshield, and could not be driven away.

HILLARY CLINTON & TED CRUZ WIN IOWA CAUCUS

Hillary Clinton has won the Iowa Democratic caucus, according to final results from the Iowa Democratic Party. Clinton managed to secure a narrow win over her rival Bernie Sanders. However Sanders holds a strong lead in New Hampshire, the next state to vote on February 9th. In the Republican race, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas defeated Donald Trump in the Iowa caucus. Cruz was boosted by a huge support from evangelical Christians.

PENTAGON TO REQUEST $7.5 BN TO FIGHT ISIS

The Pentagon will request $7.5 bn in next year's budget to cover the costs of its accelerating campaign against ISIS, according to Secretary of Defense Ash Carter. The budget will also request for quadrupling of funds to support NATO's effort to counter Russian aggression in eastern Europe. The fund increase will allow for the rotation of more U.S. units in Europe, additional training, and the pre-positioning of gear. In all, the Defense Department budget request will be nearly $583 bn.

POPE FRANCIS TO APPEAR IN A SPIRITUAL MOVIE

According to a report in Reuters, Pope Francis will play himself in upcoming Italian film called Beyond The Sun. According to a Variety report, the film will be a 'family adventure' with Pope Francis asking filmmakers to create a movie communicating the message of Jesus to children. All profits from the film will be donated to children's charities in Argentina; the Pope's home country. However a Vatican Spokesperson has denied the news.
