SUN SUNI KHABAR MAY 7TH, 2016

President Barack Obama's popularity is growing just in time for him to wage the final campaign of his political life.A CNN/ORC poll published Friday found Obama's approval rating at 51%. He's now been in positive territory since February -- the longest period since shortly after his re-election in 2012. And 49% of those polled say things in the country are going very or fairly well -- up 7% since January. The late-term boost in popularity is good news for a President whose achievements have often come at a heavy political price in a deeply partisan age.

PLUTO BEHAVES MORE LIKE A PLANET THAN THOUGHT

Apologies to all of the Pluto-isn't-a-real-planet folks out there but researchers have found a way in which this ever-surprising world acts more planet-like than dwarf-like: how it interacts with the solar wind.During New Horizons’ flyby through the Plutonian system in July 2015, the spacecraft’s Solar Wind Around Pluto (SWAP) instrument measured what happens when charged particles streaming out from the sun interact with Pluto’s atmosphere. What was observed was a much less subtle comet-like interaction (as had been previously suspected) and more a hybrid comet/planet behavior, with the solar wind being deflected abruptly but relatively close to its upwind-facing surface.
