EXPLOSION AT AMERICAN UNIVERSITY, KABUL
A bomb blast on the American University campus in Kabul left the school shaken and at least five people in the emergency room. Witnesses described hearing gunshots and then a bomb blast. Officials reported that dozens of students and faculty were left with no escape on campus. Search and rescue teams were deployed to the site and worked to help people out of the inferno. After they arrived on campus, more gunshots were reported. Two teachers, an Australian and an American, were kidnapped and held at gunpoint. Authorities still do not know where they are.
