49ERS RE-SIGNING BEN BARTCH TO ONE-YEAR CONTRACT

Ben Bartch's tenure with the San Francisco 49ers during the 2023 NFL season seems to have left a positive impression, as the team has decided to re-sign him to a one-year contract. Bartch, who was set to become a free agent, joined the 49ers in November from the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad. During his time with the 49ers, Bartch played in eight games, including both regular season and playoff matchups. His presence provided valuable depth to the offensive line, particularly as starters Aaron Banks and Spencer Burford faced injuries. Bartch contributed both on offense, with 28 offensive snaps, and on special teams, with 23 snaps, during Weeks 13 through 17.

Originally drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Bartch gained attention during the scouting combine that year for his unconventional smoothie recipe. His versatility and contributions to the 49ers' lineup have earned him another opportunity with the team for the upcoming season.
