49ERS REPORTEDLY PLACING DE'ZHAUN STRIBLING ON IR, SIDELINING HIM FOUR GAMES

The 49ers will be without their star rookie wide receiver for at least the next month. San Francisco will place De'Zhaun Stribling on injured reserve with a left ankle injury, sidelining him for the next four games, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Wednesday, citing sources.

Stribling suffered the ankle injury midway through the second quarter of the 49ers' Week 1 win over the Los Angeles Rams, and he eventually was taken off the field in a cart after he could not put any pressure on his ankle.
