ECI SCHEDULES SEPTEMBER 17 HEARING WITH REBEL TMC DELEGATION OVER PARTY REPRESENTATION

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has scheduled a hearing with a five-member delegation led by Ritabrata Banerjee on September 17 in connection with representations received by the poll panel concerning the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC).

In a letter dated September 16, the Commission said the hearing will be held at 3 pm at Nirvachan Sadan, Ashoka Road, New Delhi. ECI wrote the letter with the subject, "Representations received in the Commission with respect to All India Trinamool Congress, a recognised political party in the States of West Bengal, Meghalaya and Tripura – Reg."
