CONSTRUCTION OF NEW CENTRAL SECRETARIAT METRO STATION STARTS

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) commenced construction work at Central Secretariat Metro Station for Central Vista corridor Wednesday. The station is being developed under Phase V(A) as an extension of existing Magenta Line from Janakpuri West to RK Ashram Marg.

Central Secretariat station will become a triple interchange station, where new Magenta Line station will seamlessly connect with existing Yellow Line and Violet Line. This facility will significantly benefit govt employees and commuters accessing Lutyens’ Zone and the surrounding administrative districts.
