Delhi Technological University has approved an exemption from the entrance examination for certain PhD admissions, introducing a relaxation aimed at specific categories of applicants. The university has issued a notification outlining the criteria.

"This exemption will apply to DTU's non-teaching employees who completed at least 3 years of continuous service," an official said, adding that they will no longer be required to sit for the PhD entrance test. However, they must obtain a No Objection Certificate from the competent authority to appear for the interview.
