DUSTY'S SON DARREN BAKER, GIANTS FINALIZING MINOR LEAGUE CONTRACT

The Giants seemingly have called up the entire Triple-A Sacramento roster over the past month. If that continues through the end of the year, there might be a pretty cool story at Oracle Park in September.

The Giants are finalizing a minor league contract with Darren Baker, who is Dusty's son, and also a longtime Washington Nationals and Chicago White Sox prospect, a source told NBC Sports Bay Area. The plan is to send Baker to Triple-A Sacramento, a homecoming for a second baseman/outfielder who grew up in the area.
