Delhi govt has announced Rajya Shilpkar Puraskar to honour outstanding artisans, designers and weavers, and strengthen livelihoods linked to the handicrafts sector.

The awards will be given across 16 craft categories, including metalware, wood and stone work, pottery and terracotta, painting, jewellery, paper craft, textile and embroidery, and carpets and durries.
