HOW QB MAC JONES LOOKED IN LONG-AWAITED 49ERS DEBUT VS. BRONCOS IN NFL PRESEASON

Mac Jones’ first game as a 49er had its ups and downs. Jones and San Francisco’s offense wasted no time finding a groove in their preseason opener against the Denver Broncos on Saturday at Levi's Stadium, capping off an eight-play, 71-yard opening drive with a touchdown after running back Patrick Taylor Jr. went outside and found the end zone to put the 49ers up early.

The 26-year-old quarterback looked comfortable and confident throughout the drive, with his most impressive play coming via a dime to wide receiver Jordan Watkins for a 50-yard gain.
