PRELIMINARY 4.2 AND 3.0 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKES SHAKE THE NORTH BAY

A preliminary 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck in northern Sonoma County Friday afternoon. The quake hit at 1:28 p.m. and was centered 2.9 miles southwest of Cobb, 13.5 miles south-southwest of Clearlake, 13.8 miles north-northeast of Healdsburg and 17.1 miles north of Windsor.
