SAN JOSE CELEBRATES CINCO DE MAYO WITH PAIR OF PARADES AND FESTIVALS
The Bay Area celebrated Cinco de Mayo on Sunday, honoring Mexico's historic victory over France in the Battle of Puebla in 1862. In San Jose, the day began with a parade starting at city hall and winding its way to Cesar Chavez Plaza, where an all-day festival took place.
The festivities included music, dancing, food, and cultural performances, providing an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate Mexican heritage and culture.
