TRANSIT PRICE CHANGES TAKE EFFECT ACROSS BAY AREA

A number of transit fees and tolls are ticking up Wednesday across the Bay Area. The changes will cost travelers anywhere from 10 cents to nearly $2, depending on where they are traveling in the Bay Area.

Drivers crossing the Golden Gate Bridge will pay more as a new round of toll increases takes effect. Golden Gate Bridge toll rates are increasing by 50 cents as part of the third year of a planned five-year annual toll hike.
