When will the 8th Pay Commission be set up? That’s the question in the minds of central government employees days after the Union Cabinet cleared the move. In January this year, the PM Modi-led Cabinet had cleared the constitution of the 8th Pay Commission.

The 8th Pay Commission will determine the remuneration and benefits for central government staff, bringing potential salary increases.
