GOVT INVITES GLOBAL MINING MAJORS TO FIRST INDIA MINING WEEK IN NOV

Govt on Wednesday urged the global mining community to participate in the first-ever India Mining Week 2026, to be held in the capital in Nov, as it seeks to showcase policy reforms in the sector, attract global investment and secure critical mineral supply chains for clean energy and advanced manufacturing.

Minister of state for coal and mines Satish Chandra Dubey and Rupinder Brar, additional secretary in the ministry of coal, held an international outreach interaction with representatives of diplomatic missions from 19 countries to discuss greater international participation and collaboration in India’s mining and minerals sector.
