MICHAEL JORDAN'S ‘LAST DANCE' JERSEY SELLS FOR RECORD $12.26 MILLION AT AUCTION

Michael Jordan is still breaking records nearly three decades after his "Last Dance." A game-worn jersey from Game 3 of the 1998 NBA Finals sold for $12.26 million at Joopiter, Pharrell Williams' auction house, on Tuesday.

The eight-figure price tag makes it the most expensive piece of game-worn Jordan memorabilia in history, surpassing Jordan's jersey from Game 1 of the same Finals that sold for $10.091 million in September 2022. Joopiter expected to sell the jersey for between $10 million and $15 million, and it received one bid before the auction closed on Tuesday.
